Press On!

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.

Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

~ Hebrews 12:11

Forming new habits is not easy.

It requires discipline.

It requires the strength to press on-

Even when your mind and body tell you to stop.

But no matter how painful the discipline is, press on!

As you press on, keep your mind focussed on God.

Focus on His Word.

Focus on His strength.

Focus on His love.

Focus on His promises.

Focussing on God, keeping your mind set on Him, is the key to maintaining the discipline to reach your goals.

The discipline may hurt today,

but you will reap the benefits of them at the right time!

Press on!

Just Trust!

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8

So many times in life when everything is overwhelming and the way out looks dim, we tend to search for a way out. It is so easy to exhaust ourselves looking for a solution to the problems we are in and to worry about every small detail.

But God doesn’t want us to live this way!

God does not want us to worry!

God does not want us to be in fear!

The Bible encourages us over and over to Trust God!

The Bible doesn’t tell us to worry.

The Bible tells us that God is fighting for us, and that He has a good plan for our lives.

It doesn’t tell us to try harder, or to try and figure everything out.

The Bible tells us to live in God’s peace, and rest on the promises of His Word.

There is nowhere written in the Word of God that we are supposed to stress about life or the lives of others.

If you are living today with a burdon on your shoulders, give it to God!

The only thing we need to do is trust God!

Just trust Him!

Your Sharpest Weapon

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword,

piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,

and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

~ Hebrews 4:12

One of the most important things to understand is the power of words.

With your words, you have the power to change your life.

With the Word of God, we have been given the power to change the world.

The Word of God can make a way when there is no way.

The Word of God can heal the sick and wounded.

The Word of God can give peace to the restless.

The Word of God can cause a miracle.

The Word of God can restore the lost.

The Word of God can save lives.

No matter what you are going through, turn to the Word of God!

It has the power to break any chain, and free you from any bondage!

The Word of God is our weapon against any attack in our lives!

The Righteousness Reality

“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21

One of the most common habits in life is to try to be justfied.

We try to be good enough, to be pleasing to others.

And most of the time, we don’t do this out of love, but out of fear of rejection or guilt.

This is not how we should live!

According to the Word of God, we have already been made righteous in God’s eyes through Jesus Christ!

Righteousness is our reality!

What does this mean?

We have been set free from guilt or sin.

In God’s eyes we are morally right or justifiable.

We are excellent in the eyes of God.

We have been made perfect.

All of our sins are forgiven, and God has cast them from His own memory.

The enemy wants us to live with guilt and shame.

The enemy wants us to live a timid, scared, struggling life.

He wants us to struggle to please others, and to fight to feel like we are enough. He wants us to live in our past sins, and to be trapped by our own fears.

But Jesus Christ has set us free from the chains of Satan’s lies!

You are enough, just the way you are!

You are forgiven! You are blameless!

You are righteous in the eyes of God!

Fearlessly You!

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” ~ 1 Peter 4:10-11

God created you to be unique.

God created you for a purpose.

He created you with all of your talents, your deams, your quirks, and desires.

He knows all of your potential, aspirations, and loves.

He designed every DNA strand, and the color of your hair.

He orchestrated the sound of your laugh.

God does not make mistakes. Everything God does is good.

You are never too much, and you are always just enough.

You are strong in Christ.

You are loved.

You are lovable.

You are beautiful.

You are amazing.

You are cherished.

You are perfect just the way you are!

Don’t live your life in fear of your own worth, or in fear that you are not what you should be.

Live your life fearless in whom you are in Christ, who God made you to be!

God made you special, and He loves you very much.

This next year in 2017 live without fear, and be fearlessly you!

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27
